From Fresno simply follow Highway 168 northeast to Shaver Lake.

From Madera and most places north of Madera it is fastest to go east on Highway 145 to North Fork Rd. near Millerton Lake. (See small map above.)

Turn right on North Fork Rd. and follow it around to Millerton Rd. A left on Millerton Rd. leads around the lower end of Millerton Lake and connects to Auberry Rd. A left on Auberry Rd. leads to Highway 168. Follow 168 northeast to Shaver Lake.
