New Melones Lake Marina

New Melones Lake Marina is the only marina on New Melones Lake. The marina is located at the Glory Hole Recreation Area. Beginning September 2, 2014, the marina has been placed under a new interim management, New Melones Lake Marina LLC. The Bureau of Reclamation selected a new permanent operator for the concession in 2015. New Melones Lake Marina will open for the season on May 5, 2016.

Rental Information: Friday through Sunday rentals are from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Thursday they close at 4:00 PM. There is a 2-hour minimum on all rentals.

Marina Services:

  • Launch Ramp   $10 (includes the $8 entrance fee shown above)
  • Slips:   $30 per day, $175 per week. Extended slip leasing available
  • Facilities:   Fuel Dock, Mechanical and Dock Services, Store,
  • Instruction: Wakeboarding and tubing tutorials - $150 per hour

Boating Regulations


  • Boat speeds are limited to 10 MPH near campgrounds.
  • Night boating is permitted.
  • Camping in an anchored boat with proper sanitation facilities is permitted for up to 14 consecutive days.
  • Beach camping is not permitted.
  • Excess vehicles, boat trailers etc. can be parked in any day use area overnight for no charge.
