Lopez Lake Camping

Lopez Lake's campgrounds are operated by San Luis Obispo County Parks. With more than 350 campsites, Lopez Lake offers a wide variety of locations and amenities for campers. Campsites are separated into nearly 20 different areas, so all the camping areas feel like small communities rather than a sprawling city of RVs and tents.

Campsites are arranged among rolling hills with shade from scattered oaks. Some hook-ups are available, as well as showers. Primitive sites have no hook-ups and are open to RVs, trailers, and tents. Full hook-up sites are designated for RVs and trailers only, with no tents permitted. Sites with electricity are intended for tents only and do not allow RVs or trailers.
