Lake San Antonio Camping

Lake San Antonio's campgrounds are operated by Monterey County Parks. Campgrounds are located at both the South Shore and North Shore recreation areas. Campsites rates are per vehicle, up to 8 people.

Several Group Campgrounds are located on the south shore. The Los Robles Event Center on the north shore may be rented by youth groups for camping. It includes a commercial kitchen. On the south shore is the popular Harden Youth Area. Reservations for the youth area are selected by a lottery system in November of the preceding year.

Redonda Vista Campground

Harris Creek Campground

Location: South Shore of Lake San Antonio, close to lake
Open: Year-round
Reservations: None. All Sites are First Come, First Served
Campground Facilities: 91 Regular Campsites; Flush Toilets, Showers, Piped Water
Campsite Amenities: BBQs, Picnic Tables, Water
Summer Rates: $35 - $45 per night

Harden Youth Area

Location: South Side of Lake San Antonio
Open: June 1 to Labor Day
Reservations: (805) 472-2311 (very popular, reservations by lottery system. Reservations turned in by November 1 of previous year.)
Campground Regulations: Minimum 7 day stay. From 20 to 100 persons, and child to adult ratio must be at least 6 to 1. 10 vehicles maximum.
Campsite Amenities: Kitchen with a stove, oven, sink and refrigerator plus a group barbeque and picnic tables. The youth area had its own cove in which to park boats and jet skis.

Los Robles Event Area

Los Robles Event Area can be reserved by groups and youth groups for camping.
