Silverwood Lake Camping

Silverwood Lake is a State Recreation Area. A park fee of $10 is collected upon entrance to the area. The only family campground at Silverwood is Mesa Campground. There are also several group sites.

Boats on Trailers - Those staying overnight with a boat on a trailer need to make a Boat Launch Reservation so that you will be assigned a campsite where you can park your boat on its trailer overnight. Jet Skis carried in the back of a pick-up truck do not need a boat launch reservation.

RVs and Trailers - According to the Park Brochure, RVs are limited to 30 feet and trailers to 24 feet. However, the California State Recreation Area website says 32 feet and 31 feet. Reserve America says the maximum length is 34 feet.
