Shaver Lake Camping

Shaver Lake is owned by Southern California Edison. The company operates the popular Camp Edison on a peninsula on the west side of the lake. Unlike most campgrounds, Camp Edison offers electricity to all its sites, cable TV, and internet.

Forest Service Campgrounds are located at Shaver Lake and at nearby Dinkey Creek and Huntington Lake. The best local RV Parks are also found in the Huntington Lake area.

A picnic area is included in the Dorabelle Campground at Shaver Lake. The campground has recently been renovated. Other picnic sites are along Dinkey Creek.
