Cachuma Lake Camping


Cachuma Lake County Park has more than 400 campsites available in four campground areas. One hundred of them have full hook-ups for any size RV, while another 30 have just electric and water hook-ups. Single family campsites are first come, first served.

Cachuma Lake County Park also has other camping options such as yurts and 9 group campsites. Both yurts and group sites may be reserved for a $20 - $30 reservation fee. For cabin rentals, see Cachuma Lake Lodging.

Cachuma Lake Recreation Area: Group Campsites

For groups from 32 to 120 people
Location: Off San Marcos Road, at Tequepis Point on the southwestern side of the lake.

Fees: $220 - $825 per night (about $6.88 per person if used to maximum capacity)

Location: Off San Marcos Road, at Tequepis Point on the lake shore.

Live Oak Group Camp


Live Oak Camp is a 40-acre wilderness camp located between the Santa Ynez Mountains and San Raphael Mountains. Once a cowboy camping site, it may now be rented out as a large-group facility for camping or special events. The campground can accommodate 1,500 campers and 2,000 more others during the day. Camping is in an Open Site manner.
Camping Rates: $1100 per night, 2 night minimum, plus a $200 reservation fee.
